Plan Your Visit
Bevis Marks is a working synagogue, so please check we’re open before you travel. The synagogue and Dangoor Heritage Centre are closed for worship on Saturdays, as well as some Sundays for weddings and during Jewish festivals.

Tickets
Opening soon. Pre-booking is essential. Ticket sales are not yet live but will be available to book online through this website. The ticket prices allow return visits for one year from the date of the first visit.

Making the Most of Your Visit
We recommend at least one hour for your visit, thought you are welcome to take as long as you wish. There is plenty to explore, and we love welcoming visitors back in all seasons.
A free hand-held audio guide is available on arrival, both in English and Hebrew. We are committed to ensuring an enjoyable and accessible experience for everyone.

Families
We warmly welcome families.
Our audio guide includes a dedicated family tour with activities and information designed to engage visitors of all ages.
Please ask our friendly staff to find out where to leave buggies for the duration of your stay, or for comfortable places to breastfeed or bottle-feed your baby. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Visitor Guidelines
Bevis Marks Synagogue is an active place of worship, and weask visitors to behave respectfully throughout their visit.
Dress and Head Coverings
We respectfully ask men and boys to wear a kippah in the synagogue and these are provided at each entrance. Please return them after use. We also have a special Bevis Marks kippah available to buy in the shop.
Food and Drink
This site is a kosher space. Please do not consume any non-kosher food or drink on site.
We will be opening a kosher café soon.
Bags and Security
All bags will be checked on arrival. Large bags and suitcases cannot be brought on site and we do not have lockers for luggage. The nearest left luggage facility is at Liverpool Street Station.
Photography
You are welcome to take photographs everywhere on site except The George Weisz Treasury. No flash, tripods or extra lighting please. Please get in touch for commercial filming or photography.
Conduct
Our synagogue is a place of sanctuary, reflection and respect. Verbal or physical abuse of staff or other visitors will not be tolerated.
Smoking & Vaping
Smoking or vaping not are not permitted anywhere on the premises
