School workshops

Workshop start times are 10am or 10:30am and you can choose your preferred start time on our booking form. We ask that every effort is made to arrive on time so we can make sure to give your students the best possible learning experience. Our school workshops must finish by 12:30pm because the site will be opening to the public. If you are running late, please inform us.

When you arrive at the synagogue gates our security guard will greet you and conduct a bag search for everyone entering the site. Please tell students to leave large bags at school. They should bring only what they need because storage space is limited. This will also save time during the bag search when you arrive.

Workshops cost £4+VAT per student, with a minimum charge of £80+VAT.

Our workshops can accommodate up to 60 students.

Our site has plenty of toilets including an accessible toilet.

We are unable to offer school lunch space onsite. However, we can build a short snack time into your workshop. Just choose this option on your booking form!

If you choose a snack time, please make sure the students bring a vegetarian snack. This means no meat, especially no pork. Fish such as tuna or salmon is permitted but strictly no shellfish e.g prawns. This is to make sure non-kosher products are not brought onsite. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.

All our workshops are multisensory, inspired by SEND-friendly practices. We also provide sensory bags to enhance students’ experience. These bags contain fidgets, reading overlays, ear defenders, smell cubes and more. We ask for any access requirements upon booking so we can best support your learning needs.

We offer a version of our worksheet for our ‘Discover Bevis Marks’ workshop for neurodivergent students. This comes in the form of a folder which they can use throughout the workshop.  Inside are versions of the workshop activities which utilise symbol supported text to help with reading, understanding and communication. The folder also includes a PECS board and breathing exercises to aid with regulation. If you are interested, please enquire with our learning team and we will be happy to provide one.
